Formalities for travelling to Egypt

Useful information for your future trip

VISA and airport assistance

Your visa is included in our rates.

As soon as you arrive at the airport, our agent will greet you with a SEA BASE sign. He will give you your visa before you clear customs. Your driver will then be waiting for you in the airport lobby for your transfer to the boat.

For diving

Diving insurance

For your own safety, you must be covered by a diving-specific insurance policy.

If you don’t have annual cover, we can offer you a weekly DAN package for €25 for 7 days or €35 for 14 days.

Identity documents

Your choice :

  • Valid passport with a minimum validity of 6 months after your return date. Children must also have their own identity papers.
  • Valid identity card: in this case, you must provide two passport photos on arrival at the airport in Egypt to obtain your visa.
For diving

Documents to be prepared before departure and given to the instructors on board

The following documents will be sent to you by e-mail before your departure:

  1. Information sheet: fill in and print.
  2. Questionnaire Diver’s medical examination: compulsory for all.
    If you tick NO only: sign the document and attach your medical certificate.
    If you tick YES (except for the question relating to age, which refers to page 2), the questionnaire must be signed by a doctor, even if you have a CACI. In this case, it acts as your medical certificate.
  3. Disclaimer: please read, sign and print.

In addition to these documents, please remember to bring :

  • Photocopy of your level card: your highest level card, and the Nitrox card if you are certified.
  • Photocopy of your medical certificate: compulsory unless the questionnaire Diver’s medical examination is signed by a doctor.
  • Diving insurance certificate: if you have booked DAN 7 days insurance with us, you will receive this certificate by e-mail one week before your departure.

Vaccinations :
No special vaccinations are required for travel to Egypt. However, we recommend that you check that your usual vaccinations are up to date.
